Mazda CX-9 Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning

air conditioning stays on when car is off

we are NOT car people. have a 2007 Mazda cx9. when you turn the key off and remove the key the air conditioning stays on and you can still make the windows go up and down. the A/C turns off after about 30 seconds to a minute. is this some new thing or is our electrical system messed up? thanks in advance for the help. I have a 2007 CX9, and I know I have posted many problems I had, mine is a AWD and that sound drives me crazy to put it best it honestly sounds like I am piloting an old wooden boat. When I turn at slow speeds 20 mph or less it sounds like boards bending loudly. not sure if the 09 BT is the same as the 07 BT but in the 09 manual it lists all the phrases that are used to 'train' the system...the 3 most important I saw are 'dial' (a number you give it), 'call' (a phone book entry), and 'setup'. Go up on the mazda site and download the 09 owners manual...it has an extensive BT section in it. Read More...

First, I'm not buying a used 2008. If I want to do that, they are going at auction for about $18,500. What auctions do you go to? I cannot touch a 2007 GT AWD for under $22,000 at the auctions. That website has been under construction for a while now. Glad that it is back on line. As expected, for 2007-2008, the new version is "F" with 2008.1 map. For 2009-2010, the new version is "B", also with 2008.1 map. If you buy a 2009 CX9 today, you may still get the "A" version. Hold on. The "E" version of GP9A is for 2007 to 2008, not for 2009. I would advise you not to try it. The 2009 NAVI system is different from 2007-08 version. The disc is not compatible. AFAIK. We recently bought the Pirelli Scorpion tires at 30,000 miles for my 2007 CX-9. Its been 4 months and probably 6000 miles and there is now a loud humming noise, which the dealer thinks is tire noise. Dave, Welcome to post more here. I have a CX-9 so I visit here very often (almost on daily basis ). Bluetooth is for hand-free cell phone. With 2009 GT Assist package, it has A2DP support so that you can stream music (from iPod, music-capable cell phone) through the Bluetooth to the stereo of CX9.
