I own a 2007 CRV LX-AWD/ great car. Extremely reliable however boring to drive. I dare to say that the CRV is a Chick car and not a manly ride. The engine on the CRV is great on gas, I drive long island to nyc and I get about 21.5 on highway/ 19 on city driving. Inside the CRV, is great if you need room for a baby seat and groceries. Sorry if I confused you. Invoice price on a particular vehicle (say for example we are talking about one particular 2008 Mazda CX7, vin #JM3ER293480101103) actually never changes. Say our example CX7 came in Aug 2007 as a 2008 model. The dealer floorplans the invoice for that vehicle (lets say $22300). If that vehicle was still sitting on his lot today (yikes), ... I appreciate the reply. My thought is that there are about 7 Mazda dealers within a 30-40 minute ride. They knew I had done my research- I knew about the $3500, I knew about the current Mazda incentives ($229 price leader lease, 2.9% financing, MAC lease cash, etc- most of these they had to look up as they initially stated they didn't exist). 2008 and later CX7s also can use regular fuel. In 2007 they required premium, but not any more. Also consider the RAV4 V6 and the Forester XT. Those are quick and relatively efficient for the level of performance they provide. Read More...

We traded in our 2007 Mazda CX7 GTAWD today with 9500 miles on it. We were sick of the premium gas and the horrendous gas mileage. It is my wifes car and she drives around town getting 10-13 mpg. We brought it to the dealer 3 times and they claim all is normal. The Mazda was fun to drive but the mileage was just terrible. We were able to get $20K on a trade and purchased a 2009 ... I've had my 2007 CX7 since October of 2006. This is my 4th Mazda, and my last. I think their engines are great, but the "fit and finish" are not so great. there is always a rattle or a squeak that they can never find. I've had to replace the gas cap twice, and the driver's side seat has been squeaking loudly since October of 2007. Mazda's solution is to "lube" the rails, ... Read More...
