Review
I have a B2200 short bed base cab, and it's my first truck and I love it! it's a 5 speed and it shifts nice and smooth. It has great gas mileage compared to all of the gas hogging F150s and Silverados out there.
Favorite Features
Comfort, gas mileage, the grill design, the orange dash lights!, the rally rims.
Suggested Improvements
More horsepower -- 85 horses just isn't enough. But everything else is excellent. It's a shame that the '94's and up are a rebadged Ford Ranger, or I would have considered a newer one for my next vehicle.

Review
Although I've only had this truck about 2 years, it's been very reliable. With only 100K on it, its still running strong. The 4WD is very useful on my construction site and also in the snow. Body is still in good shape considering all the New England winters its been through. Decent mileage for a truck (18-20mpg), but replacement parts can be expensive as it is a rare model

Review
We are the orginal owners of this truch, which we bought brand new. It has surpassed our hopes and expectations! It has never broken down on us. We have had to maintain it only. It has not needed a lot fo repair work even for as old as it is.I feel it is a solid truck. the body is going to hell, but the engine is purfect !!! I would buy another in a second !!!

Suggested Improvements
I have never liked the windshield wippers, even on the first day. The are not efficient. More care needs to go into the body to withstand the weather and to not rust out so quickly.

Review
120K miles on mine with no major problems. Replaced the computer a while back. If you need a new computer for yours, get it from a 3rd party, not the dealer. Big $ from the dealer. This is an extremely reliable truck. Adding a topper makes it an excellent vehicle to carry canoes & kayaks.

X-cab & a topper is the way to go. Very reliable.

No problems with this one. These are great trucks that last a life time. Milage could be better but I'll take reliability of fuel consumption anyday.

Review
225,000 on this truck with no repairs or break downs. 2 new mufflers are the only items ever replaced. Has made 5 trips to Alaska fron So. Cal and 2 across the US towing trailers! Has truly been an outstanding truck and will keep it until it falls apart, if it ever does!

Great room in X-cab, 2600I engine, excellent streering, reliability.
