Condition Declines Rapidly After 50k

My Mazda 626, like many others, required a new, $2000 transmission at about 80,000 miles. I have always kept the vehicle well maintained and was saddened to watch the over all condition and quality of the car decline reapidly after about 50k miles. The new transmission was the icing on the cake. I also had to replace the instrument panel, several valves, and a faulty exhaust system. Mazda North America is unresponsive to its customers. I give Mazda a D for quality.

Best Features

Well-designed interior.

Worst Features

Quality. Transmission, Exhaust system, better quality electrical work, better cupholders, overall quality improvements.
