Charge & Rear lights come on when I turn the wheel
I have a 1990 Mazda 626 (still). Whenever I turn on the A/C or turn the steering wheel, 1. the "charge" light and "rear" light come on. 2. Power steering is lost. After I cleaned the battery terminal, this problem only exist when I turn the steering wheel. I get 12V when the engine is off and 13.3V when the engine is on. Engine Shuddering
I have a 1990 Mazda 626 with a 2.2l 5 sp manual trans I found my way here looking for any answers to my problem I'll explain. My car shudders/stutters when a starting out and trying to maintain a constant speed. It "shudders" in all gears while maintaining a constant speed; say 30mph . I'm not sure of the later models of 626's,but I have a 1990 with automatic transmission and I have heard from more than one source that unless a seperate aftermarket transmission fluid cooler is installed($40-$80 part cost)those transmissions are prone to early failure because of heat builup. starting car after being in high water
Sunday it flash flooded in Dallas, and while driving home I ran into high water and stalled. (I was not being stupid, there was just nowhere to go. Everything happened so fast.) I got a 1990 Mazda 626 DX from a friend about a year ago. Original engine, auto trans., and Fuel injection. 197000 miles. Recently I was driving home and my CEL started flashing in some pattern.
