Vehicle

2013 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sport 2dr Convertible (4.7L 8cyl 6A)

Review

I obtained this vehicle with every option offered. Even the carbon fiber trim. The vehicle is a little disappointing. The GPS is incredibly horrible. It is not touch screen and there are no street names listed other than the street you are travelling on. If you purchase Sirius radio, the real time traffic option will not work with this 2013 vehicle. The sound system is not loud enough when travelling with the top down. In terms of comfort, it is wonderful. The acceleration could be a lot better. This is a heavy vehicle. Very smooth ride. Engine sounds amazing and the vehicle definitely draws attention. The top takes a little long to retract compared to other convertibles.

Favorite Features

The engine sound is impressive. The looks of the vehicle draws attention. When you drive it with the Sport mode activated, there is a much deeper sound which you will fall in love with. I love the front sport grill. It makes the car look much more aggressive. The seats are very comfortable. Too bad there is not an option for ventilated seats. I thought this vehicle would have been much faster. It isn't. The specs say 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Sure. Go try it for yourself...

Suggested Improvements

How can this vehicle for this price not have keyless entry nor have keyless start? The louvres on the air vents are cheap and will break when you wipe them if you press too hard. No place for the gas cap when u are pumping gas, the gas cap dangles and hits the side of the vehicle. The letters for the name of the car are peeling off from the trunk of the vehicle. The trunk is rounded but the letters for Maserati, are flat. Whoever designed this must have thought some glue and some sticky tape would have help up just fine in the hot sun. There are other convertibles in this price range. Shop around. There were some great lease options at the time I picked it up.
