What We Know

We managed to catch a prototype being tested on the Nurburgring, but with other than that brief glimpse of the next Lotus Esprit we don't know much. In fact, Lotus has decided to delay the launch of its flagship coupe until late 2009 so the details on this supercar are still changing day by day. Lotus said in a press release that it wanted to incorporate more company DNA into the new car, so expect a very lightweight chassis and superb handling.
