2005 Lincoln Navigator SUV Luxury 4WD 4dr SUV (5.4L 8cyl 6A)
After major rebates and 0% financing, car is still upside down after two years of payments. Rattles and clanks noticed from the beginning, service cannot fix. Aftermarket upgrades sold by the dealership installed too low and rattle. When rattle fixed, screw tore interior sunroof fabric. Aftermarket dealership DVD unreliable and not upgraded to play DVD Rs or RW. A nice vehicle but market value dropped after purchase.
Stability control, anti-skid is great during rain or slick roads you can feel it control the fishtail.
Pricing to meet blue book value after purchase. Better quality, chrome is really plastic inside vehicle and scratches easily and loses "metal" look.

I bought a fully loaded ultimate 4x4 navigtor in june 2005. I had both a 1998 and 2004 eddie bauer expedition prior to this purchase. The navigator's transmission shifting is awesome & smooth. I have 3600 miles on it so far. The engine is not quiet though when it is in park........It's embarrassing to drive up in this luxury suv and the engine can be heard. I am getting that checked asap. Besides, everyone gawking at my gator, or peeking inside the windows when they think i'm not looking.............This suv is close to perfect!
Love the optional headlights, they light the road up. The dashboard is beautiful. Handles excellently. Kids love the wireless dvd player. Stereo is awesome......Love the touch screen w/voice activation radio & navigation i like the styling inside & out.

I had never considered a Nav, I'm 6'3" - the Escalade was a huge disappointment - dash and emergency brake cut into my shin and leg! Happened upon the Nav by chance. Was very taken with comfort, pick-up and ease of handling! I was surprised by the comments about lacking power, as the "Baby" moves like a bat out of hell and thinks 90 is an appropriate cruising speed. Among the most comfortable and supportive seats I have ever had in a car. I will agree that the gas mileage was a kick in the head -- but considering it's size and weight it could be alot worse. All in all -- an A+ on the car -- which does not extend to the dealership --yuck!
Seating, sound, comfort, pick-up and power running boards.
Location of window controls drive me crazy and figuring out where the front end is when parallel parking is still a mystery!!
