I purchased a 2001 Navigator in 2003 and have had nothing but problems, 1 thing after another , worst vehicle i have ever owned, as well as the most expensive, most of the parts are made out of cheap plastic and 2x the price. Hello, I have a 2003 Lincoln Navigator and It has the "Check Suspension light on the dash. I took it to the mechanic and he put it on the module and error code "C1991" came up and it said: "Module Calibration Failed." The mechanic replaced the height sensor and the solenoid was also replaced. The "Check Suspension" still remains on the dash. What is this code and how ... Read More...

Our battery died and we replaced it--then the car started, but almost all the electrical features in the car would not work--no dashboard, radio, navigatiion, windows, hatch, seats. I would say :::: Caution :::::: when considering this purchase. I just sold my 2003 Lincoln Navigator. I absolutely LOVED the vehicle but I spent a fortune on repairs. Especially the 2003 year is particularly bad (see consumer reports). There is a major know flaw (TSB 06-05-13) that affects the left side cylinder head. I just had the left cylinder head replaced in December of '07 and after such a costly repair I can tell you I was thinking that the worst was behind me - WRONG.
