Lincoln MKZ Lease Questions

  • Re: April Lease #'s for MKZ [jberardi]

    Written by: Car_man on Apr 29, 2013 3:12:04 PM

Thanks and you're welcome jberardi. Ford Credit's April base lease rate and residual value for a 39-month lease of a 2013 Lincoln MKZ 2WD with 15,000 miles per year are 0.5% and 51% respectively. The residual value for a lease with 12,000 miles per year would be 2% higher. You're right, the 39-month term would likely result in a slightly lower monthly payment than the 36-month term. I'd be surprised if ... Read More

Hello Carman, Hope you are doing well. Could you please post the MF and Residual for the 2013 Lincoln MKZ(non-hybrid)? If you could post the numbers for the 24 and 36 month lease with 10k miles per year. I would appreciate it. Also, any lease cash or trunk money availble on the vehicle yet?

My experience exactly ... I purchased the 350 in Oct. With all the hype beginning in 2012, I anticipated 2013 MKZ would be available by Sept. Suspect there were labor and/or production problems in Mexico. Love the 350 and the dealership Lincoln has a long way to go to catch up here. As I said previously In many dealerships Lincoln seems to be an afterthought to Ford cars and trucks. Miss ... Read More

  • I think this latest review clinches it

http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/reviews/drives/2013-lincoln-mkz-test-drive The new MKZ is so much better than the 2012. Yet it competes in a 2013 environment that reasonably can expect more, given the competition. If you drive a car for awhile as these testers did, and conclude that there is little to be gained for that $20K over the Fusion Titanium, that is a problem. For Lincoln it is a big problem, because this car cannot be redone for ... Read More

  • 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid - Where Is It?

    Written by: red0624 on Jan 31, 2013 1:15:30 PM

Hi - I ordered mine in Sept. Have been continually stonewalled about realistic delivery date since. Customer care seems to be "care-less" and it's hard to become a customer if they don't deliver. What's the hold up?

Now it's on sale in January? Call it a 2014, and skip 2013. The sales numbers for the model year will look better, and resale will remain higher on a 2014 compared to a 2013.

A high center stack sweeps down from the dashboard into the center console in one fluid form. The stack of controls itself is dominated by a large touchscreen interface with touch-capacitive faux-buttons. At this point, we think the Lincoln MKZ is a better car than the Lexus ES, which is a big statement from us. It ... Read More

A sinking feeling in our stomachs tells us this MKZ is still not distinct enough to buoy the luxury brand."

  • Re: 2013 MKZ [Car_man]

It'll take some time. I lease a 12 MKZ and I also work for a Lincoln dealer. I traded out of my 11 to my 12 just so I could wait it put until the lease improves. When the new model year launches for anything you'll pay top dollar to drive one. You still have renewal rebates but its better to wait 6 months or so after launch until the programs ... Read More

I gave up ... With all the hype you would expect the 2013 MKZ to hit the street no later than August. Suspect there must be some production and / or labor problems in Mexico. I traded my 2008 MKZ for a 2103 Lexus ES. I am gone from Lincoln for good...

I visited my local Ford-Lincoln dealer to pick up some 2013 brochures last week. He told me that the 2013 MKZ wouldn't be there until November. I did see a 2013 Fusion Titanium. It's a beautiful car, but the sticker on this particular one was for $36,000!

If Lincoln hopes to compete with Cadillac (or Lexus, etc.) they must upgrade their dealerships. On occasion I must bring my 2008 MKZ to a Ford dealership that took on Lincoln to replace Mercury ... I feel like I am going to a truck service center, lot loaded with dozens of trucks of various descriptions, service desk and waiting room suitable for folks with a truck or maybe a Ford . I ... So how soon can we expect a Lincoln MKZ that does not use the Fusion body? This one has the MKS style interior, and a (rather timid) interpretation of the MKR grill. Still looks a lot like a Fusion with a Lincoln style grill. And what's with the tail lights? I thought Lincoln's new design language would include full width ones. Now every Lincoln model appears to go its own way ... Read More
