Lincoln Zephyr/MKZ

Re: Does MKZ has start push button? [gregg_vw]

Couldn't agree with you more concerning Lincoln (especially the MKZ). I own a Zephyr and I am quite happy with it's durability. I am very disappointed, however, in the 2010 MKZ. I'm sure it's also very durable (Ford is making some pretty reliable cars). Unfortunately, the styling of the 2010 is very forgettable, the interior is sub par for that price group and ... Re: Does MKZ has start push button? [savetheland]

All GM core brands were up in sales Nov to Nov. Lincoln continues to be down, and that is very bad, considering how bad Nov 2008 sales were. I give Lincoln credit for trying different things, but they are just not hitting any marks yet. The popularity of the new Cadillac SRX, along with the CTS wagon and the stunning CTS coupe will not help Lincoln (for those who are ... Read More...

Lincoln MKZ Lease Questions

2010 Lincoln MKZ Lease

I'm currently leasing a 2007 Mercury Milan set to expire in 6 months. I am looking to upgrade to the 2010 Lincoln MKZ. I have 6 months of payments remaining of $307.34 for the Milan ($1844.04). Here is what I was quoted for a loaded MKZ with Nav Package, Ultimate Package, Technology Package, 17" Chrome Rims, Moonroof, Rapid Spec 103A: -They will pay my 6 remaining ... Read More...

Re: MKZ Lease [jimmydean7]

Hi jimmydean7. Here's the information that you're looking for. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2010 Lincoln MKZ 2WD with 15,000 miles per year are 2.25% and 46%, respectively. As you can see, this is right in line with what you were quoted. I don't believe that Ford is currently providing any cash incentives on leases ... Read More...

Lincoln MKZ Prices Paid and Buying Experience

2010 LIncoln MKZ dealer experience

I finally am getting closer to buying a car. It is between an 2009 Acura TL Tech and a 2010 Lincoln MKZ. I requested internet quotes from several of the local Detroit Acura dealers and only one from a local Lincoln dealer for an ultimate pkg MKZ. I received good honest out the door quotes from the Acura dealers via internet. The Lincoln dealer (Hines Park) gave me an ... Read More...

Re: MKZ over 535xi [akirby]

"Any extra plant capacity not used by the MKZ can be filled with Fusions and Milans which are selling quite well." I have a great idea. Let's stop making the MKZ altogether. That way ALL capacity can be devoted to the Fusion and Milan. You seem to be fixated on the idea that Ford isn't interested in selling any MKZs. Perhaps you are correct but, I think Ford better be ... Read More...

Re: MKZ over 535xi [gregg_vw]

I have no idea what will happen to Lincoln (or Mercury but, that 's for another day) over the next few years. One thing is for sure. To once again become relevant, they have to start selling cars in significant numbers. Right now, this just isn't happening. The MKS has been out for some time now and I've seen two. The MKZ has been out for 4 months and I have yet to see one ... Read More...

Incentives On The Way

Waiting in the mailbox Friday was a package from L-M. It contained a simple brochure on the entire Lincoln line with an offer of $750 back if I purchased, specifically, the new MKZ. I believed rebates/incentives would be coming but, I didn't think just 4 weeks after intro. Doesn't look good. I went back to the L-M dealership to have another look, in case I could be ...
