2010 Lincoln MKZ 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
Review
Bought this car in July 2010 with 10,000 miles on it. There were initial issues with pairing of cell phone, but the dealer and Ford were persistent in getting those resolved. Since then, my wife and I have driven it 10,000 miles and love the car - fit, feel, handling, and performance. Visibility out the back is not all that great and full use of the console controls takes some getting used to (probably true of any new car) by older folks (72). Synch technology probably not quite ready for prime time.
Favorite Features
The car provides for a very comfortable and quiet ride. The accleration, power, engine performance, and handling are all excellent. good
Suggested Improvements
A lower rear deck lid may improve the rear veiw visibility but also may reduce luggage space. Make it easier to cut cell phone to privacy rather than through the car speakers. When driving in the mountains, I like to drive with the manual transmission but the inability of the trans to upshift automatically takes getting used to.

paulperry, not sure if you found a solution but we had the EXACT same issue with our 2010 MKZ Sport. Here's what worked for us: I bought a product called Turtle Wax F21 Super Protectant (comes in a bright green bottle, says its specifically designed for "modern materials"). Sprayed liberally on the dash and worked it in, giving special attention to the "blotchy" spots. Let the cleaner sit for a while then wiped it dry with a cloth. So far the dash has maintained an even appearance, not shiny or greasy, and the blotches are gone!

We have a 2010 MKZ AWD. The interior is dark charcoal and the dash is "blotchy". The Dealer and Lincoln are telling me there are no similar reported problems. The car is garaged. It looks to me like some kind of contamination from some unknown substance . Has anyone else seen this problem?
