Review

Purchased this car from my grandmother a month ago and sold my new ES350. Love driving this car. While it is not very sporty and inside storage is non-existent, it has a very smooth ride, it is quiet, and very comfortable. I enjoy driving it and get plenty of compliments.

Favorite Features

great for road trips or someone who drives alot, trunk space, plenty of leg room, well made interior

Suggested Improvements

interior storage, cupholder placement, gas mileage

This is the best auto I have ever had in my long lifetime! There are just two suggestions for improvement: 1. the placement of the speedometer is not visabble enough. 2. the headrest is not placed right I owned a Lincoln Town Car prior to this car and of course, the ride is not as comfortable as the Town Car

Favorite Features

The milage is fantastic! I get 18 in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. I love this!

Tranny fluid must be changed at 50k mile intervals with new filter, not just flushed. Front seat backs have lousy lateral support. Nice inside & outside style. Suspension air bags way better than my 1990 Continental. Rear doors definitely are harder to open from outside than front doors. Compass and "Day-night" fluid in rear view mirror just failed. Top 1/2 of mirror is always bright & bottom 1/2 is dark. With 140k miles, no big repairs yet, although the air bag light is on since when I reclined the driver's seat all the way down - must have pinched a wire. Important: Wet sand the plastic headlight lenses with 1600 grit or finer to restore that new look.

Favorite Features

Inside & outside appearance

Suggested Improvements

Lateral support on front seat backs in this 'luxury" car is awful - my older Dodge van was way more comfortable

Review

The Lincoln Continental has been one of the most enjoyable, low cost per mile luxury autos I've ever owned. It now has over 130,000 miles on the car and does not leak anything - still gets 25-26 mpg on the highway. It has been one of the least expensive luxury cars to maintain that I've ever owned. I put Michelin Hydroedge tires on the car and it handles better than when new! Wish Lincoln still manufactured this automobile. Not too large, not too small. Wonderful automobile!

Favorite Features

Remote keyless entry, keypad entry, wonderful sound system, comfort, modern styling - wonderful all around automobile!

Suggested Improvements

Driver side grab handle above door. Something similar to OnStar. Fog lamps

Review

I love my Lincoln Continental. It is fun to drive, has all the options that I could ever want and gets decent gas mileage for a larger car.

Favorite Features

The keyless entry is great. No more locked keys in the car.

Suggested Improvements

The power seats needs some improving, but I love the car.
