Review

Excellent ride and interior comfort. Great attention to detail as only Lexus can provide. Good road feel and you feel in command of the car. Far advanced from the 2001 Lexus we owned.

Favorite Features

Interior-well appointed and driver friendly. Navigation system is excellent- easier to use than the B.M.W. technology. Very quiet on all road surfaces. Truly the next generation of Lexus.

Suggested Improvements

Some rural areas are not covered by the software of the Navigation system as yet.

I owned a 2006 RX330 that the radiator cracked at 40,000. After limping into the dealership for a warranty replacement radiator, I thought I would browse the 2010. The Matador Red was glowing in the sun and I was wowed with the new design. I traded my 2006 in and have had the new one for 3 weeks. The driving is so sporty, tighter suspension, extremely smooth and quiet, great acceleration, always get compliments on color. Huge driving difference between 2006 and this new beauty. I don't have sports package but 19" chrome wheels. Luxury, comport and nav package with parking assist (which is awesome) and came with tow package.

Favorite Features

Navigation system is awesome, nice bottle holders in all 4 doors, most comfortable seats, more roomy, wonderful ride, better gas mileage, parking assist awesome, great voice integration with nav, mirror controls back on door.

Suggested Improvements

Clock in odd place, very difficult to find usb hookups in bottomless center holder, no coin holder, seat warmers in very odd spot.

The best crossover out right now

Review

Okay, so no matter what any of these reviews say, none of this applies to my vehicle. The interior quality and design is superfluous and soft to the touch though it is true seats could be a little more cushioned. The ride is very soft though the power is there if u want it. Everything in the car works as advertised and I love it. Wind noise may be a little intrusive at highway speeds, but you could just roll up the windows and crank up the mark levinson audio system. For those looking for an all around great and functional crossover, you don't need to look farther than the rx350. I have test drove the ML, X5, MDX and none of these cars are as comfortable as this RX. It truly is the drivers SUV.

Favorite Features

Remote touch, interior quality, smooth ride, audio system and just about everything else including voice control.

Suggested Improvements

Seats could use a little more cushioning, second row leg space is slightly limited if the driver is tall and moves the seat all the way back, wind noise is slightly intrusive, navigation voice is slightly low and can sometimes be hard to hear.

Review

I got a great deal on the car but in my 112 mile drive home my back hurts so back I need to return the car. My rear and back really hurt and this morning I am still hurting. I love this car totally but am so bummed out that the seat is so hard that me as well as my passenger could not get home fast enough after the first 50 miles. I am so disappointed as it is the most I have ever paid for a car. Everything else is amazing.

Favorite Features

All but the seats.

Suggested Improvements

Seats are horribly uncomfortable and anyone over 40 will be terribly uncomfortably unless you have 30 plus extra pounds in body weight.

Problem with loose right front bumper

Review

After a few weeks, I noticed that part of the right front bumper was sticking out and up. I found out that it was loose. The left side is OK. I took it back to Crown Lexus of Ontario, CA whose service rep said that they know about the problem. I was given a similar vehicle and I noticed that it has the same problem. When I picked my RX350 up, it had the same problem. They told me to drive it until Lexus can find a better solution to just installing a "bracket". I am still waiting for them to fix the problem. Check your 2010 RX350. It proabably has the same problem.

Favorite Features

The options:Turning headlights when you turn, motorized rear door, auto- shutoff of high beams.

Suggested Improvements

Give the driver the choice of turning off the auto dimming rear and side view mirrors, tilt the side view mirrors more downward, relocate the parking brake pedal, give the driver the ability to turn off the Eco indicator--it is very annoying when it turns off and on.

Review

Absolutely no problems so far. But reading some of the other reviews and forums, I wonder if the other shoe is about to drop? That said, my 2010 RX 350 is everything that I thought that it would be -- quiet, comfortable ride, decent performance, great build quality, and an exterior design that makes the prior versions look like Ugly Betty. Getting ready to go on a 2k road trip, so I will update after that.

Favorite Features

Keyless operation. Storage space, cup holders. Comfort/interior. Quiet ride.

Suggested Improvements

Find a better location for the Homelink buttons. Expected a bit more out of the upgraded, 12 speaker sound system.

Bought Aug 2009 already having dissatisfaction. Hoping to have smooth ride, but it's not. Wind noise on the frwy & gas mileage is not what they claim only 16.2MPG on the city. My niece's rx 330 2004 has a better & quiet ride that's why we got one for ourselves. Try at least 2 SUV before buying.

Favorite Features

Navigation system not complicated. Interior is awesome.

Suggested Improvements

Of course smoother ride.

Review

I have always wanted a Lexus SUV. My husband finally gave in and bought me one. Whatever one I wanted. I chose the 2010 RX350. It is the best vehicle that I have ever owned. I have owned other SUV's and Crossovers but none of them measure up to the Lexus. Gas mileage is great, smooth ride, feels like I'm riding on a cloud. Very satisfied with this car. It took a few days to get used to it, but I'm glad I decided on this vehicle.

Favorite Features

No key needed, backup camera, automatic hatch, touch lock on the door handle, tinted mirrors to keep glare out.

Suggested Improvements

The only suggestion I would like to make is to tint the driver and passenger door darker.

RX350 - Great SUV...for a SUV

Review

Is it as silent or as wafty as a 460 - no. Is it as sport as a ISF - clearly not. It's a SUV/Crossover and in that task it is exceptionally good (so far only 200 miles on it to date). Decent performance, decent economy, very good comfort (seats are a bit hard) and all of the toys any sensible person might want (and more than many would consider sane in a car). Fit and finish is fabulous - Black Pearl exterior stunning with Black interior (both a bit higher maintenance but I got tired of seeing silver and white ones with tan interiors in the WA area!) Agree about the driver-side cup holder though - 'Mostly useless' but there are 2 perfectly good ones in the console.

Favorite Features

Great balance of utility, power, convenience and plush.

Suggested Improvements

Modify the driver door side cup holder to be a change holder. Solve the iPod music selection bug (iterate through songs causes current highlighted one to play) .

Good but not Great

Review

Traded 2007 AWD RX 350 for 2010 AWD model with rare Luxury and ML options. Easily feels bigger in every dimension. Old model had inadequate front leg room (I'm 6'3"); new model is more than adequate. Interior design much improved. Excellent ergonomics; NAV, screen, mouse is easy to use. Seats are OK but a big hard. Better luggage capacity. Exterior design is fine but not a standout. Ride dynamics are what I expect from Lexus; smooth, quiet, unobtrusive. I really feel the extra weight, but overall it corners flatter and still has adequate power. Brakes are fine and better than 2007. MPG has been disappointing; 18 in town, 22 on the highway. Still, I don't regret my purchase decision.

Favorite Features

Bluetooth for cell phone; works great with Iphone and Blackberry. NAV screen is excellent; NAV is intuitive; mouse easy to use. Extended thigh support on seats (Luxury option) very appreciated. ML audio is very good and can really pump the volume. Interior design is excellent IMO. Love the 6 speed.

Suggested Improvements

Bump the HP to 300 (likely to happen when Lexus moves the 3.5 to direct injection; perhaps 2011 model?). Bit more padding in the seats is needed. Bit more wind noise in the side window than I expected although not a deal breaker. Move the DC and aux inputs to a more accessible location.
