I traded for a 2013 as I really like the exterior styling changes and the new claret mica color.
It reminds me of looking through a sparkling glass of California pinot noir.
The interior is still as comfortable as the 2010-2012 versions, and the cabin is still as quiet.
No change to the powertrain means the same peppy performance and smooth shifting A/T.
The new grill design and some additional chrome trim adds sparkle to the exterior.
The exterior door mirrors are now power-folding.
Homelink controls have been relocated to the rearview mirror and are illuminated at night.
The navigation and remote controller have been updated, so now operate like on the new GS.
Apps allow for Pandora radio and other activities if linked to a smartphone.
If possible, the maps are even clearer than before.
The carryover features, such as the excellent cooled seats, crisp instrumentation and spacious legroom, are still much appreciated.
Although minor points, I detected some cost-cutting in the cabin:
The hard plastic coin tray rattles incessantly, so no change can be stored there.
The wood veneer atop the cupholders in the rear center armrest has been removed, replaced by hard plastic color-keyed to the interior.
There is no longer any cover between the back of the rear seats and the cargo cover mechanism, so contents of the trunk are now visible through that gap.
Come on, Lexus.
