8k bellow MSRP on the loaded AWD with navi and appearance is the Target. So you should pay around 42k for the 49-50k MSRP. There is more cushin in the loaded Rx therefore it does not make sence buying the striped car. Check with lexus in Virgina Lindsay Lexus. Also go to a dealer with inventory.
I work for a major Lexus dealership and hate to burst your bubble but you overpaid this vehicle....sorry.
I had 15K service on my RX-350 and Lexus dealer rotated and balanced tires. I have 19” Bridgestone tires. After this service I felt vibration at speed of ~70 miles/hr. Try using your foot to raise the idle RPM just a slight bit. A (too) low idle speed will sometimes result in the engine lopping and the associated vibrations. The exhaust note on the 2010 is definitely louder than on the previous generation RX. What's irritating for me is when I'm stopped at a stop light and the gear is in drive. Yes, between 1800 and 2500 RPM it sounds too loud.. took it in twice ,last time I drove 2 other new ones and they all had the same noise..Service manager, who went with me on the test drive sez, yeah, they are louder than the 09 models..probably a slight design change in the exhaust system...now i just accelerate thru it and really dont notice it much since i know it's normal ?
I have the exact same thing, and was told my Lexus that everything is normal.
2010 Lexus RX 350 with 5300 miles. Engine noise when acclerating and rpms go over 2000. Sounds like a muffler exhuast, but no noise in park only in drive. Anyone else have this occur.

Can anyone tell me if you can get a back-up camera without having to purchase the navigation package? It's difficult to find that answer on-line. I bought a 2010 w/o Nav but with backup camera. Hi westside4. I don't believe that Lexus is currently providing lease support on either the 2011 or 2010 RX 350. As a result, if one was to lease either they would have to use Lexus Financial Services' buy rate lease money factor of .00210 (Tier 1+ credit tier). Car_Man It appears that Lexus is currently sponsoring the lease on the 2010 RX looks like some type of Dealer concession ($3,000). So with that fact included what is the current Residual and M.F. in the Southeast for a 36 month, 10,000 miles per year?
I am not sure where are you guys getting these inflated MSRP from? This is what I am getting at Edmunds TMV 2010 Lexus RX 350 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A) with comfort and Nav package $38,831. A Ray catena dealer here in central NJ is offering me this at $37,551. Hoe does this sound to you guys?
My understanding is that vehicle payload is only one factor in determining towing capability and is part of the maximum allowable gross vehicle weight capability of the vehicle . Per the manual, "when towing a trailer it is the sum of the vehicle weight (including the occupants, cargo, and any optional equipment installed on the vehicle) and the tongue load".
Then how is it capable of towing?
That's kind of surprising. I'd think the payload would be closer to 1300 pounds or so. The lowly Geo Metro is supposed to be capable of carrying a 600 pound payload. Anyone know what the deal is here? tidester, host SUVs and Smart Shopper

Dennis I don't know how good a price that is .... looks about a thousand over invoice. Several people have reported better discounts. I'm in Va. and the price you paid is the lowest I've been offered so far for a car with similar MSRP. The dealer says thats their bottom price .... I haven't threatened to walk yet. I'm gonna shoot for a little closer to invoice. Plus I read ... Read More
2010 RX 350 w/ Nav with usual options (premium, 19 inch, heat/vent seats, roof crossbars) in Starfire Pearl. MSRP 45,600. Paid 40,300 + TTL from a local dealer in Orange County, CA. I think I could've done a little bit better but I am still quite happy with the final price. The ride is a bit stiffer than expected. I test-drove Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60. RX feels a bit stiffer ... check out Lexus of Wilmington. I don't know what the going rate is on a New 2010, however, I bought a 2009 Pebble Beach edition, with NAV and I couldn't believe the price. The dealership is in Wilmington DE, but If you're looking at 49000 for an RX, I'd think that'd be very high on their end.
That's a great deal. Thanks for sharing. I don't think anyone can top $6400. The only exception would be when Lexus comes out with 2011 model and if they still have 2010 RX 350 left to sell. In the previous years i have seen $10k - $11k off MSRP during model year end but again that's short lived and it may or may not come this year.
I just purchased a 2010 RX 350 AWD Lexus. The sticker on the door and the manual say that the payload is 825 lbs. Whereas many of the web sites show a much higher payload. Does anyone know if the former is accurate? Four guys slightly over 200lbs without luggage would break the weight budget. Somewhat disappointing. I checked the Lexus web site as well as the vehicle brochure and nowhere ... Read More
I'm interested in buying a 2010 RX 350 with the following features: Navigation Pkg, Premium Package, Comfort Package. MSRP is $48125. The internet sales manager has quoted $44532. I think that's way too high. I am currently driving an Infiniti and they have approached me with a $6000 off on an FX35. Now granted, these 2 cars ride very differently - I have owned both in the past. But they are ... Read More
What you heard is correct, glex1. Lexus' May lease program is indeed slightly better than its April program was. Lexus Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 48 month lease of a 2010 RX 350 AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00190 and 49%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka Tier 1+ credit tier. Hi aujoe1. $750 over dealer invoice isn't bad, but the money factor that you were quoted is too high. Lexus Financial Services' May buy rate lease money factor for a 36 month lease of a 2010 RX 350 is .00190 for Tier 1+ customers (credit score of 720+). That factor increases slightly to .00200 for Tier 1 customers (690-719). Make sure that the dealer uses the buy rate to calculate your ... Read More
I don't know what your speed limits are, but I do my best to rapidly get into 5th gear at 40 MPH. Then Watching the mpg readout, I can see 3-5-7-13-to 28 mpg. I don't floor it to get there, just 2500-3000 RPM shifts. Top gear is most economical, so get there quickly, dont spend a lot of time in lower gears. Tire pressures at 30psi? Check every 2 weeks.
