Just bought a new 2010 RX 350 FWD for $3,000 under invoice. MSRP was just over 45k, invoice was about 41k, price paid: 38k + TTL, OTD about 42k. Basically, I paid a little over $7,000 below MSRP. Got the exact exterior/interior colors (silver/black) my wife wanted and just the right options: Premium with Nav and no comfort package. Funny that a lot of dealers said that combination ... Hi car_man and all interested; I'm interested in leasing a used/certified pre-owned RX 350, maybe 2008 model with AWD and nav, maybe priced at $33k. Lexus' CPO web page says leasing is available at the same lease rates as new, but I'm not sure if dealers are on board. I figure with less to amortize and the same lease rates as new the used lease should be well below that for ... Read More
Picking up an RX 350 and Es 350 from Lexus of Watertown tomorrow. They blew away their competition with their prices. I'm leasing these vehicles. Vchad, You are correct, we may not see $10k off deals but certainly $7k - $8k off MSRP is very possible. Look at this 2008 thread (sonysw, "Lexus RX 350 Prices Paid and Buying Experience" #1148, 28 Jan 2008 11:57 am) people were getting $7k - $8k off MSRP that year too and it was not a "new model". The RX300 does exhibit a high incident rate of transmission failures. Our 2000 is now on its 3rd transmission. The first trouble we had was around April 2008 when the vehicle drivetrain was barely out of warranty. Over the course of a week, reverse gear continued to hang-up ... Read More

As you probably read in this forum, the 2009 RX coming out next month (Feb '08) will be unchanged from the current 2008 version. The new body design and changes will be the 2010 model.
Lexus cars, as well as most other brands cars, are redesigned approx. every 5 model years. The Lexus RX is not 5 years yet. The First RX ran from the 1999 model year to 2003 which is 5 model years. I will be test driving the RX 350 this weekend in NJ. If I like the vehicle, I would be interested in leasing over 36 months. I would want AWD with Premium plus luxury package, navigation, 18" wheels. The MSRP is $45,706. The invoice is probably around $40k or so. What would be a good purchase price? I didn't know if there were any current dealer incentives which they are getting ... Read More

Hi Congratulations. I bought my RX 350 from Lexus in Glendale, CA. I paid $301 for License and another $28 for Elctronic filing to DMV. I see that you paid only $49? Was I overcharged for the License? But, when I got my registration in mail I saw on the registration card that the fee paid was $301. So, I think that is correct fee and may be you got a ... Wow, motis, $759 per month to lease an RX 350 . That's way too much. Let's work up a sample lease payment on a similar truck and see what we come up with. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2008 Lexus RX 350 AWD with the Premium Plus package that has an MSRP of $41,625 and a selling price of $37,957 ($1,000 over dealer invoice) through Lexus ... Hi jgebs. $688 per month sounds high to me as well. The truck that you are interested in has a spread of around $5,000 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. You are only being given a $2,500 discount on it, so there may be a little room left to negotiate. Make sure to stop by the "Lexus RX 350: Prices Paid & Buying Experience" discussion to see how ... Hi ckm1515. I don't know what the maximum allowable money factor mark-up for Lexus Financial Services, but as far as I am concerned it might as well be zero. I personally would not lease one from a dealer that was trying to mark my money factor up. There's enough competition out there that one should be able to find a Lexus dealer that will lease them a 2008 RX 350 using ... Read More
You're very welcome, sbh. I'm glad that you enjoy this discussion so much. The best way to tell if a lease that you are considering assuming is a good deal is to compare its monthly payment to how much a similar brand new vehicle would cost to lease. It is difficult for me to come up with an exact comparison because I don't know how the model that you are considering ... Read More

Prestige Lexus - Northern NJ delivered a competitive price for a 2008 RX 350 (premium package, with navigation).
