This vehicle is for people who do not
want quick acceleration and solid
corning. The vehicle leans too much
when turning, and the acceleration is
horrible. The drive-by-wire feature
needs to be redesigned to allow the
driver to be the decision maker,
instead of some computer programs.
There are also various interior squeaks
and rattles. Very un-Lexus.
Fuel economy is good for a V6 SUV. Not
much else to say here.

The seats are very comfortable and sit
high over the road for maximum
visibility. I don't get tired after a
ong drive. Living in Maine, I find that
the heated seats in front are most
welcome. The rides is very smooth.I feel
extremely safe in this car. The
manufacture has done everything
possible to make it the safest SUV.I
recommend it highly and will plan to
replace it eventually with another one
just like it.
The drivers armrest has to be lifted to
buckle the seat belt. The disc player is
inonvenient and should be like the one
in the Lexus 400 series. I don't like
the plastic bumpers. Rubber would be
better and less prone to crack.
Go SUPERLATIVE!! Except the front
passenger seat - only a 4 way
adjuster, and no upgrade option- most
uncomfortable on long journeys.
Driver seat is superb. Go

miserable clunks in trans/transfer
case. Freeway slightest slopes it's
shifting up and down.

This vehicle as some unusual annoyances
for such a luxury brand as Lexus. 1.
the central console area very strange.
I cannot even find a good place to put
my cell phone. 2. The brake pedal makes
this bouncing sound, if you release it
too quickly. 3. the sun visor is not
tight enough when it is dropped down on
the driver side window. It would swing
over and hit my head sometimes. 4. The
biggest annoyance so far is the
moonroof. It will make a constant low
volume squeaking/twisting noise while
the vehicle is moving. The only way
muffle the noise is to shut the
moonroof interior panel.
This vehicle has good power and great
gas mileage for a V6 SUV. I get up to
22 mpg on mixed local and highway
driving. I trust the engine and the
mechanicals are rock solid with this
They need to prevent the little noises,
and create more usable interior
compartments. This vehicle also
shares many components with other
Toyota vehicles, such as the engine,
steering wheel, and gauges. It makes
Lexus look cheap.
