Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsTypical beautiful electroluminescent Lexus gauges. Great steering wheel taken right out of the GS 400. Redline is tagged at 6,500 rpm. Silky smooth shifts come at 6,000 rpm. No wheelspin off the line, but it does lurch forward with good authority. Brake torque to 2,500 rpm. Smooth rev limiter intervention.
Braking commentsDecent power. ABS is unrefined with lots of grinding and squeaking noises. Straight line stability is good, but there's a lot of dive. Consistent, but not quite as supreme as other Lexus models. Small amount of pedal pulse can be felt. Arhythmic ABS.
