I bought a 2007 CPO LX 470 about a month ago. It is our second one and we are sold on these things. I am having an issue with a vibrating noise coming from the high/low shift lever area. The frequency of the vibration changes depending on how fast the engine is running. Never happens in neutral or when idling, etc. It almost sounds like a radio sounds when you accelerate ... Lexus did not announce pricing for the LX 570, but since the outgoing LX 470 starts at $68,110, including a $715 destination charge, it is expected that the new model will start above $70,000. Sorry, I posted before I was actually done. I have always had excellent service from Lexus and you are right, you can't even begin to compare the quality between Lexus and the American made cars and trucks. The leather interior is really plush. Even with my 6 year old Lexus 470 LX it hardly had any rattles and other than normal wear it was still holding up great.I loved ... Read More...

I had a phenomenal experience in the LX and recommend it highly. Lexus is not going to dicontinue it at all. They are going to make it larger and even more luxurious in 2006 or 2007. It is extremely well built and has top shelf reliability. I'm also not so sure the Range Rover has better heritage than the TLC as the latter is a legendary SUV. But the heritage would'nt ...
