Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsNo wheelspin off the line regardless of launch technique. Brake torque does very little to help acceleration in any way. Impressive acceleration for an approximately 6,000-pound SUV. Best run in "D", ECT in "PWR" mode.
Braking ratingGood
Braking commentsSoft, long-travel pedal still produces one short stop. After that, distances increase.
Handling ratingAverage
Handling commentsSlalom: Stability calibration in the slalom is actually quite good with smooth hands. Turn it off, however, and it will go faster, but hang on! Skid pad: Wow! Stability Off actually means off! It also means drivers should have due respect for this big beast. Numb steering at limit makes driving right on the edge of grip a real challenge. Suspension in "Sport" -- ride height in middle setting.
