This is my second Lexus LS! Cost of ownership is minimal other than oil changes every 5 to 7 thousand miles. Comfort of ride and a quiet environment sets the LS apart from its competition! 4 years into ownership and my LS rides like the day I drove it off the showroom floor..
I bought my 2012 LS 460L with 18K miles certified at a Lexus dealer in Miami FL. Drove it back to NC and found it to be the most comfortable car imaginable. Had a 2006 LS 430 which was also a near flawless car. I like everything about this car and it simply devours long trips on an interstate. Have only driven 3500 miles since buying it, but it is so comfortable and enjoyable to drive.
Interior build quality is so classy.
Seats are super comfortable.
Mark Levinson sound is amazing.
Bluetooth cell phone link up is great.
I get 24 or more mpg on highway which is amazing for a huge car with a powerful V8.
Very disappointed at the nav system on my new 2012 Lexus LS460. On several occasions, the system gets confused only blocks away from final destination. The red dot Indication on the map at any intersection is off by about 0.1 mile, very confusing to users. Won't allow you to input address while vehicle is moving for safety concerns, but that's stupid, what if I have a passenger trying to put in a new address while I am driving? Unnecessary constraints! Nav is slow to respond, typing address must be done VERY slowly. I already need a update to the Nav, where is it, Lexus?
auto vent/filtration is cool
Homelink button location needs to be moved. Rightnow it's next to SOS button, come on!
