  The LS 430 first year of production was model year 2001 and the last year was 2006. I think the only important upgrade during this run was model year 2004.   Yes I to have looked and driven almost everything since Sept 08. All Lexus maintance has been done. I am thinking about buying extended warranty. My dealer said Lexus doesn't offer one over 100,000. They offered me another warranty $1200 to $2200 depending on what I want. I may end up with a 2010 ES just not sure even with .09 % money until Sept 7th.

I try to keep up with every Lexus model, but I don't know anything about the LX...sorry.   I am looking at buying a new LS 430. Anybody knows if there is going to be a radical change in the design for 2004? is the story of "Autopsies" true? any other web site that shows the new design? Lastly how much Lexus is discounting the LS during the december to remember sale event?

  If there is any hint of veracity to the rumors, why would Lexus make changes to the LS 430 so early? The car is still a formidable competitor to the S-Class, 7-series and Q45.
