Poor brake design
By Bud Hudson on

Vehicle

2003 Lexus LS 430 4dr Sedan (4.3L 8cyl 5A)

Review

The only complaint abaout this car is the very poor brake design of the front brakes. The pads needed to be replaced and the disc turned, the dealer informed me that this will need to be done again after each 20K. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR THIS CAR.

Best Features

lOOKS, HANDLING, TRUNK SPACE (4 SETS OF GOLF CLUBS)

Worst Features

TOYOTO should have used SixSigma tools when redesigning the brake system on this car.

Why does the disc need to be turned every 20,000 miles? If the disc is getting too thin, it need to be replaced. Turning the disc only occur when doing brake job.
