Bought new, always serviced at original Lexus dealership, babied this car. Had to replace all valve springs and gaskets at 25k mi and then replace all valves and gaskets at 40k mi. They tell me this has been a problem with a "handfull" of these cars, but I suspect a handful means at least several hundred. My car has been in no accidents, perfectly maintained, garage kept, driven daily. They say it is because the fuel injector sprays the valves from behind instead of from above, part of their outstanding design. No excuse for these major engine problems...period. Very disappointed. Won't buy another Lexus...EVER! Never owned any new car with such major problems at low miles.
Voice activated touch screen navigation, back up camera, and heated seats... love them all
Build a high quality engine that, when serviced properly, stands the test of time.
