Hello everyone - what a great message board! My husband and I are considering purchasing a Lexus Certified GX 470 with Navigation, third seat option, Brand New Michelin tires and Factory rear DVD entertainment center in a navy blue color from a middle-Georgia dealer. Miles are 42,000. Asking price is $37,990. Any suggestions for starting place for negotiations? Many thanks, L.

A Lexus is in no way in the same relm of a Lincoln Navigator. A Lincoln is a glorified Ford and Fords don't last very long as far as reliabaility goes! It seems me to me that some people are just beyond picky. I have a 2006 Lexus with 5k miles and if reported no problems or imperfections with the vehicle. My last vehcile was a 2004 Audi Allroad Quattro and ... Read More

I own a 2004 GX 470 with 14,000 miles. I'm starting to hear a pulsating noise/whine that seems to be coming from under the driver's feet when traveling over 70 mph. I even feel alittle vibration when I hear the noise. Any thoughts?

Sorry, I was off a little on the MSRP. It was the standard build of $49,883.   This includes Nav/ML, 3rd row seats, rear spoiler, Wheel Locks, trunk Mat & Cargo Net. It does NOT have KDSS or the RES.   I purchased my GX470 in NC at Johnson Lexus.

Greetings! I just purchased a new 2004 GX470 9700G yesterday. I thought I should provide my feedback to this forum as well. It is all the options, including KDSS, Nav/ML, RSES, rear spoiler, roof rack, tow hitch and ball mount, preferred accessary, etc. It is relatively difficult to find a GX470 with KDSS in Southern Calif. with the color that I like. Most GX470s are without KDSS on the market. It ... Read More

Hi folks, anyone knows of good deals for Lexus GX 470 w/ ML + 3rd row seat in New Jersey. The MSRP I believe is $51,900. The best I got is 48K which I think is too high. since this is 2004 year end, the final price should be much better also let me know the dealership I can go to thanks in advance

Just took delivery of a 2004 Blizzard Pearl w/Nav/ML, 3rd Row, mats, wheel locks, cargo net, spoiler, etc. for $46K flat. Was happy with price we got. Local dealer wasn't looking to negotiate and didn't have our color preferences so sent e-mails to 5 dealers in neighboring states. Some said our price was too low but found a few willing to talk. It being the end of the month seemed to ... Read More

  • GX 470 v Sequoia LTD

Narrowed my decision to these two vehicles. 3rd row seating is important with 3 kids (ages 5 ,7 and 10). Sequoia's size and 3rd row is perfect. I am worried 3rd row in GX may be too tight, but otherwise the Lexus seems like a fantastic vehicle. Any thoughts? Without much negotiating the Lexus dealer has quoted me the 9700 C with Nav and DVD at $48,700, plus $600 acq. fee ... Read More

I picked up a Blizzard White GX last week. Wow, what a truck. I am amazed how solid and quiet this truck rides. I have a 2003 Benz E320 and the GX (in terms of ride quality and sound isolation) will give my E320 a run for the money any day of the week. I ordered the GX with the 3rd Row Seat/AC, Wind Deflector, Cargo Mat, Wheel Locks package. I ... Read More

I just emailed my local dealer for a quote on an '04 GX, hopefully with the new options and hopefully with the new (higher) GVWR, here's his reply: "The GX 470 that you have outlined in your e-mail, Kinetic Suspension, Tire Pressure Monitor, and Roll-Sensing Airbags, will not begin production until December of this year. This means that we will not see them until sometime in January or February. And this ... Read More
