Uhhhhh.......the ratings are 29 city/24 highway/31 combined. You said you got 30.4 MPG overall. And 29+ for a few months is still in the EPA rating window. That will go up in the summer. Looks like Lexus did it's job. While you, with this review, not so much. You might want to revise your rant, or actually read the sticker before you buy a $60k car. Actually complaining that a 338 HP two-ton luxury car is ONLY getting 29 MPG? Really?Report it
empoweredbc: you made very good points. A lot of people buy cars without doing research or reading the manual. Some expect GS450h and LS600hL have the same gas consumption as a Prius but little they realize that the purpose of using a hybrid technology wasn't saving fuel but rather performance and exercising different forms of technology . I own an LS-430, and a lot of people complain about its navigation. I actually spent 30 min reading the darn thing, and it has been very intuitive since then. But of course, people complain that it is confusing. My advice to them is if you are not willing to read the manual or do research on the prospect cars, don't waste your time and money buying them.Report it
