Well for me, the Infiniti G35 and Lexus GS350 happen to be two of the cars on my short list as I am also in the market for a luxury sports sedan. My short list includes: Infiniti G35 Lexus GS350 Cadillac CTS BMW 5 Series Audi A6 I realize that these cars are not necessarily all in the same class. But price is a factor in my decision. In my area, ... Read More
Hello, I am wondering what people who own the lexus gs300 or gs430 pay usually per month, not including gas in maintaining the car. i.e. trips to the shop, oil changes, fluid changes, repairs, other problems? i spoke to someone on the BMW forum and they said for their 5 series its around 150 dollars a month. I can't imagine that kind of income going out on a monthly basis on ... Read More
I have the same car, and pretty much the same experience. Out of frustration I stuck a sock between the dash and windshield on the right hand side, and 90% of my dash noise went away. I've been driving this way for 5K miles or so, and some of the squeaks have come back, but many have not. Whenever I bring it in for service I tell them to not touch ... Read More
"The GS and M still get hammered by the 5 and E though." Infiniti car sales in the U.S. were down 12.4% through Sept, compared to first nine months of 2005. The only model with sales higher in 2006 is the M. However, third quarter (July+August+September) 2006 sales of the M ( 2,293+ 2120+1933=6346) were down 22% from third quarter 2005 ( 2,755+2623+2351=7729). Lexus passenger car sales in the U.S. were ... Read More
Well, in the LPS category, nothing handles as well as the 5 Series, of the cars I have driven. (This is my priority. Couldn't care less about interiors.) The M is quite good, but feels heavy, steering is a touch artificial and its loud engine proves tiresome. I am embarrassed to say I have not driven an A6 or E Class yet. Shame on me! I have driven the GS 430 ... Read More

I would bet on it, because this is directly from the Lexus USA website: "The next phenomenon from Lexus is coming. The entirely new GS 300 comes packed with the force of 245-hp in a 3.0-liter V6 engine. And a ferocious 300-hp, 4.3-liter V8 lives under the hood of the GS 430. The style is groundbreaking — sleek sculpted lines, slingshot windows and a longer wheelbase take the GS ... Read More
