My wife and I just returned from a 4000 mile trip to the California coast in our GS 350. The car met all my expectations, except for a couple of minor shortcomings. The info screen is too complex for my tastes, it keeps my attention too long when I should have my eyes on the road. The other small annoyance was the sometimes hesitation from the 6 speed transmission. This occured mostly with cruise control engaged. When I bought it, it had 18" wheels/tires which are not as smooth as 17s, but are tolerable and help the handling, which is excellent.
Comfort, power, handling, 6 speed transmission.
Surround sound should be standard on the non Mark Levinson sound system. It doesn't play DVD-Audio which my 04 Acura TL had as standard. This not good for an upscale car like the Lexus, which retails for $15,000 more.
