High mileage and still strong

2000 Lexus GS 300
I acquired this 2000 Lexus GS 300 sports for almost 7 years now. A hand me down from my brother in-law due to rear engine main seal leaking. The current mileage is 250K. I never had any major issues aside from normal wear and tear (i.e., brakes, vacuum hoses, serpent belts, valve cover gasket, oil pan seal, tires, etc.) I replace with OEM parts that can be bought on-line or junkyard and … YouTube on how to DIY. Compare this car to my wife's 1999 BMW 328i that has more issues and the check engine light is always on. A rare 2JZ-GE Supra engine gives you the fast acceleration on the freeway but eats lot of gas, 16 gallons full tank last me only for 4 days of daily driving.
