I am the original owner of a 2004 ES330 Lexus sedan. I am considering replacing the car with very mixed emotions. I love my Lexus. What a deal on this vehicle! At the time of purchase I got a fair purchase price, but when I think about the quality and reliability I have been fortunate to experience I have no complaints. I may choose to pass this quality vehicle on to my son who will soon graduate from college. What a lucky young man he will be!
Favorite Features
Heated seats, automatic windshield wipers, sun roof.
Suggested Improvements
My car seems to lock on its own. I need to be sure to take my keys with me all the time, even when pumping gas! Please fix that!

Roomy, Reliable and Comfortable. The acoustics are great with the upgraded sound system I had installed. Quiet car with the proper tires. Knock on wood, no major problems.
Favorite Features
The interior is nice - better than the ES350.
Suggested Improvements
No doubt about it - the transmission stinks. The Maxima I had before had a lot better pickup. I just learn to live with it as long as it doesn't get any worse.

Our friends said we overpaid for a "fancy Camry". Now we are laughing because this car is as good as new. They all have had to trade for new cars and can't believe our Lexus runs and looks so good after four years. Not one mechanical problem, great highway mileage and the navi/Levinson setup ROCK.
Favorite Features
Stereo, luxury fit and finish. How little this car really cost for what you get.
Suggested Improvements
Be able to access navi on the fly.

Owned a sporty Honda with a lot of zip. Also have a Corvette, but nothing compares to the ride and feel of the Lexus. We bought a Camry and sold it to a family member after they totaled their car. We wanted a comfortable ride and family car. Our 2004 Lexus is a luxurious treat and we love it. I'll drive the wheels off this car.
Favorite Features
Seats, ride and quietness. Fuel mileage is good as well. Reliability of mechanical and quality engineering.
Suggested Improvements
I would like the mfgr to change the hesitant transmission when you first accelerate... very low geared and we've heard that Lexus has had problems with the transmissions, but we haven't had any problems over the almost five years we have owned our car. Car maintenance is key though! :)

We purchased this car used. It gets an average 29 MPG (street and highway combined), has plenty of power, interior leg room, great looks and it's easy to do oil changes. The trunk mouth is smaller than I would like but so far it hasn't been a problem. Also, the trunk can only be opened from the interior or via a button on the key. There is no key lock on the exterior. On cold days the seat heater is a plus. There's a multi CD player and a cassette player. This car handles extremely well at any speed and has not been in for any major repair. The drive is very smooth and quiet and feels very sturdy. The biggest surprise has been the gas mileage. I am very impressed with this car.

Suggested Improvements
Steering wheel volume and radio controls. Allow for a key to open the trunk from the exterior.
