    Hello, I would definitely wait for the redesign of the 2012. I think the 2012 will be loaded more techie stuff, will have improved navigation and better styling, not that I'm complaining. I have a 2009 with nav/park assist and I love everything about it, however, if I was in the market for an ES today, I would wait for the 2012.

    I may be wrong but this is what I found on www.lexus.com..... 2009 ES 350 w/premium plus package(no nav) is cheaper by approximately $800. They have increased the base MSRP by $200 but reduced the premium plus package by $1,000. Premium package is no longer available.

    Clearlake didn't give a quote below invoice. Invoice was $33,500 something. Lexus has a 2% dealer holdback on the base MSRP. Thus allows them to sell the car below advertised invoice.

    Which dealer did you go to? Clear Lake Lexus would not lower the price at all, even after I told them I will buy the car right away if they will give it fo me for the quote I got from a Dallas dealer. All they said is "How did they give it to you for that price?"

    1 local dealer has a 2009 and another has 2 2008's of the identical ES350 model. Residual is higher on the 2009 but interest rate is lower on the 2008. If I negociate well which one is the better deal?

    Hi noojerrz. The money factor that you were quoted is right in line with Lexus Financial Services' current buy rate for the 2009 ES 350. That is a good thing. The selling price that you were quoted for this car looks reasonable as well. If you like it, I personally don't see any reason not to pull the trigger on this deal.     From the 2009 Lexus ES 350 Web site: "Ratings achieved using the required premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used, performance will decrease." Again, if premium fuel is required, then why include the second sentence? My take is: the Lexus has the same engine as the Avalon does and can run on regular unleaded with no problem.

    I may be wrong but this is what I found on www.lexus.com..... 2009 ES 350 w/premium plus package(no nav) is cheaper by approximately $800. They have increased the base MSRP by $200 but reduced the premium plus package by $1,000. Premium package is no longer available.

    From what I have read elsewhere the only change for 2009 is the Royal Ruby Metallic color is being changed to the Matador Red color. One would think there would be some other minor tweaks but perhaps not.

    I understand that the next round of Lexus lease incentives is July. Does anyone know the difference between the July incentives and the December to Remember incentives? Will I get a better deal by waiting until July with their incentives plus near the end of the model year? Are they anticipating making significant changes to the ES 350 for 2009?
