I just purchased a 2006 ES 330 with only 1 master key. The customer reviews on ikeyless.com were scathing...does anyone know of an ethical company outside of Lexus who replicates & programs keys ? The tranny is performing well, maybe because it only has 41K. Any warning signs I should be looking out for? Loving the ride so far!
I have a 2006 ES 330, color is Black Garnet Pearl...it looks like Black Cherry..very pretty color. I purchased it 12 months ago..at that time, the paint was fine, no dings or chips. I have noticed in the past few months chips of paint missing on the hood and bumper. The car appears to have a cloudy finish now. I wash it weekly and take very good care of it...I have ... Read More

On my 2005 ES330, the hesitation happens sometimes if I accelerate slowly. If I need to merge onto the freeway or otherwise accelerate for sure, I stab the pedal and it takes off just fine. See #1221 earlier in this forum curt2005, "Transmission problems with Lexus ES?" #1222, 28 Aug 2006 8:50 pm There are two interesting replies in the thread. I think that this is a side effect of an ... Read More
I previously had a 2000 RX300, and started noticing that issue after a time myself (and the awful hesitation problem) --- honestly, I had 2 transmission failures in the RX, thankfully fixed under warranty, and eventually got them to buy me out of that car, and after my complaining (or shouting at the dealership manager! lol) they gave me a great deal on a 2005 ES330. Mostly, the ES has been ... Read More
Hello Robert. The last time that I checked, Lexus was not providing any sort of lease money factor support on the 2006 ES 330 or the 2007 ES 350. As a result, if you were to lease either one through Lexus Financial Services, you would have to use its standard lease program. Lexus is however providing its dealers with $1,000 dealer cash to help them unload the '06 ES 330s that ... Read More
I have just been offered a leftover 2006 ES330. It has premium package. No satellite radio, bluetooth etc. 426.00 a month Plus tax 12K miles He said maybe he can offer zero money down other than first month..Appreciate any suggestions.
Ok, gang, here I am. I leased a 2005 ES 330 in August of 2005. After hours of ownership, I noticed hesitation, lurching and stumbling in my car. I could not take it back that day due vacation plans, but took it back the next week. The head mechanic rode with me in the car and apologized and said the car has a problem, they have attempted to fix it with ... Read More
Greetings gwynters. The money factor that you were quoted for this car is in line with the current buy rate lease money factor for it. The selling price that you were quoted looks good to me as well, assuming that it is before the deduction of any capitalized cost reduction. If you lease this car, make sure not to make such a large down payment though. If you do, you risk ... Read More

Hello pcpaul. Lexus Financial Services' residual values for the 2006 ES 330 are quite a bit higher than its residual values for an equivalent 2005 model. For a typical 36 month, 15,000 miles per year lease its residual value is 53% for the 2005 model versus 57% for the 2006 model. Given the fact that the '06 model does not have any sort of lease support available on it at this ... Read More
Thanks for the additional information, hotjohn. Unfortunately, this car's lease program has completely changed for the month of April. Lexus is no longer providing lease support on it. It replaced its special lease money factor with $1,000 dealer cash. Make sure to renegotiate your car's selling price taking this cash into account if you haven't leased it already. If you want to lease an ES330 through Lexus Financial Services right now. ... Read More

MSRP was $35909; selling price $32508. Regarding whether you should buy a 2005 or 2006, there are no changes for 2006 since there will be a redesign in 2007. Only new choice for 2006 is the black diamond limited edition es. You might be able to get a better deal on a 2005 since they aresitting around. in my area (NJ) color choices if you want the non basic numbers are ... Read More
I have a 2005 ES-330 which is essentially the identical car to the 2006. There has been some criticism of the hesitation problem on these boards over the past year. I did experience the problem when the car was brand new and asked the dealer about it. I was told to "drive the car harder" as the computer which controls the transmission had to "learn" my driving style. While I was ... Read More

Hey newcarbuyer3. You want to roll $10,000 in negative equity from your current lease into a new one?!?! If it will cost that much to break your current lease, you are better off waiting until its scheduled end to get a new vehicle. You're right, the lease money factor that you were quoted is terrible. It's much higher than Lexus' current buy rate money factor of .00123 for this car. If ... Read More
I currently own a 2000 Lexus ES 300. It has been a wonderful car but it is getting a little long in the tooth and I am planning on replacing it very soon with another Lexus. Last Spring, I looked at the GS 300 w/ Nav, Mark Levinson, etc. but I couldn't quite justify paying $50K+ for a car and they were selling for MSRP w/ no deals to be had. ... Read More
Hi newcarbuyer3. Let's take a look at this car's current lease program. If you were to lease a 2006 Lexus ES 330 without navigation through Lexus Financial Services right now for 48 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be an attractive .00123 and 57%, respectively. 15,000 miles per year is the highest mileage allowance that LFS publishes residual values for. If ... Read More
Hi jtbooze. The "December to Remember" sales event just started two days ago. This is an excellent time to lease the car that you are interested in. For now ... Read More
The Lexus ES series may be in the process of being discontinued. It appears that it has already been dropped everywhere but in the US. I suspect that the entire Camry product is being moved to the US leaving only the ES to be manufatctured in Japan, maybe not enough reason to keep the Japanese plant open. It also appears that Lexus is already (maybe even Toyota too) moving away from ... Read More

Most 2006 es 330 dont come with Mark Levinson audio system. 90% of the cars with Navigation dont come with Mark Levinson and the other 10% are built with Mark Levinson but with particular color(blue shale and silver pine mica). There is a 2007 Lexus ES forum. It is expected the 2007 Lexus ES will appear by the middle of 2006.
Hello Cap, I was told by the new car manager when asked about the 2006 ES330 that there was going to be no change. This is going to be like the 2005 GS300. They did not change anything but the year because of the early release of the 2006. This is what the manager said is going to be done to the ES330. He was expecting Lexus to release the new ...
