I've written Lexus Customer (NON)
Satisfaction 3 times--they've
called me back twice only to tell me
the transmission is "operating as
designed". Funny they would say that
automatically without driving the car.
Service writers and salespeople at the
dealership know there's a problem and
say there is no fix. SM told me that
Lexus said to use premium gas and it
may help--so they KNOW there's a
problem. I've counted 21 complaints on
this site. Is anyone working a Class
Action, or had any luck getting some
compensation in the way of a buy-back?

Certainly NOT the transmission...
Fix the tranny, or buy the cars back
and save the Lexus reputation. Maybe
allow customers full purchase price
credit toward another model Lexus--that
would go a long way in maintaining
their previous reputation. Lexus hopes
we will trade the vehicles and the
problem will go away.
