It's not a second generation Acura
Legend Coupe(the car the ES300
replaced), then again, neither is my
wife's 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type S. It's
also much more enjoyable to drive than
the buff magazines suggested --
suggesting that the car was being
reviewed without actually driving it.
Regretting my decision to trade-in my
1995 Legend Coupe, I intend to keep
the ES300 at least 10-12 years,
rotating the "second car" currently
occupied by the 3.2CL.
It's a Toyota. If that doesn't tell
you everything you need to know, you
don't know cars.
Improvement? A coupe body style,
power tilt-telescopic steering wheel,
and steering wheel-mounted audio
controls. The newest generation ES300
didn't offer enough difference over my
vehicle to win me over -- I have a
better looking car with the same
engine and low mileage.
