I just bought this car a couple weeks ago. The mileage is amazing; I am getting about 44-45 MPG, better than I expected. The car drives nicely and hugs the road tightly, so that i feel in good control. It is sporty and fun, and looks like a technologically advanced car inside. The use of space is very good. The only thing better would be the same car in a larger version.
The response above is one more moronic post from someone who apparently can't afford a Lexus. The CT drive train is the same as that from the Prius, and that clearly is about the end of the similarity. This car is plenty fast in Sport mode and handling is excellent. Give the 'safe acceleration' a rest already.
This is supposedly a "sport" model ? instead it's a high-priced Prius. Simple solution ? put a real engine in it ? the 2.5-liter hybrid from the Camry (200 hp), making for an instant desirable package. Until that occurs it's a no sale, from this auto enthusiast.
Zero to 60mph in 10.6 seconds!
Give me a break? and some safe acceleration.
