Yeah sorry about that, I realize I didn't list miles, it has 27,075 miles on it. I am not sure if it was a rental. Its being sold by Rosenthal Acura dealership, so not at Land Rover. Edmunds TMV listed it at 28,941 with that mileage which seems kind of high actually. Would the dealer actually tell me if it was a rental, I can't seem them disclosing that. Are you happy with ... Having the same problem with a 2002 Land Rover, so problem has been around longer than the 2008. Won't start intermittently until motor cools off. Car is at mechanic right now; saw a blog about pressing accelerator before turning key to start and that seems to help one owner. Another owner had sensors replaced, but did not fix problem. Hi, what is the current model LR2 for sale? Is it 2009? Are there any new 2008s? Or new 2010s? Are 2010s coming soon? What is the standard lease deal for these 3 years, if indeed all three years are available for lease? I don' t know why it took me so long to post my freelander tale. I bought my 2005 se in feb 2007. The problems started almost immediately with the "service engine soon" light coming on. This happened almost immediately and continued about 2-3 times per month with always the same results-fault codes, and near undriveability. Throw in along the way constant overheating ... I just recently purchased a new 2008 LR3 Land Rover with 4700 miles on it and while driving 60 MPH on HWY the suspension system sensor was faulty and rose up while driving. I had to pull over and turn off LR3 to lower. I contacted the dealership and they got me in the next day with a loaner LR2 and they repaired faulty sensor that day and took care of my first maintence. ... Read More...

I just called Land Rover USA and they said the 6 complimentary services will still be honored for 2008 LR2s. Starting with the 2009 models though, they'll only get the one service. That's too bad, but I'm glad we'll still get what we paid for when buying the '08 LR2. I would have been pretty bent if they rolled back that offering. Read More...

Her car is a 2002 Chevy Surburban.. big difference in what it can carry.. Several days ago driving in very bad snow storm.. ucla95 - Although Land Rover is now owned by Tata Motors, I suggest contacting the President of Jaguar Land Rover North America and explaining the situation to him. Copy the Dealership Manager on your correspondence so that he/she knows that you are going directly to the top with this issue. DO NOT GO TO Jaguar Land Rover Mission Viejo!!! I leased my 2008 LR2 from them in Oct 07 and had the WORST customer service out of any dealership I've ever purchased a vehicle from. I ended up speaking directly with LR's U.S. Manager in order to get anything done - ended up having them pay for one of my lease payments due to poor customer service. I would highly recommended ...
