2008 RR SC - Looking for good quality after-market things like seat covers (have 2 children under age 6 and two 1 yr old dogs lol), and the roof rails and bars - I have seen the roof rails and bar set for like $1500.... I know I paid $400 for the same thing for my Land Cruiser and another $200 for the install.... Did the web search many times and ... Read More
Hi I am turning in a 2008 Range Rover HSE with luxury package in May 2011. The buy out price will be about $43,000. It will have about 30,000 miles on it (3 years old exactly , I stuck to my 10K per year limit). My question is, how negotiable are these turn in prices and can I go to any Land Rover dealer to negotiate it or is it better ... Read More
Hi Malibugaga, Let’s see – I would guess that your leas is with LRCG as they had the best program in 06, regardless all the leasing companies use independent inspection companies to asses the damage v.s. normal wear and tear to your car. Most dealerships can give you a general idea of what is considered acceptable and what is not, but keep in mind they play no part in what the ... Read More
Your statements are absolutely correct. The current RR was designed in the mid 90's by BMW with (at the time) state of the art design and safety standards. And yes, my children are always properly secured in the vehicle with Britax car seats. But you can't ignore the facts. Most newer vehicles that have a head protection system (even the RR sport) use curtain style airbags for 1st & 2nd rows. ... Read More
Does anyone have an absolute answer as to the exact airbag configuration of a 2007 or newer RR HSE? The main reason for my purchasing a 2007 was from all the press releases from Land Rover stating that the interior of the vehicle and the airbag system was redesigned and reconfigured. The vehicle supposedly now has new torso (seat deployed) side airbags, a knee airbag for the driver, and "SIDE - ... Read More
Hi alwaysarookie. Reducing this truck's mileage allowance would definitely lower its monthly payment. Getting the dealer to lower its selling price would as well. Did you negotiate the selling price? If not, you definitely should do so. As far as the length of this lease goes, normally 36 month leases have lower monthly payments than 24 month leases. However, Land Rover appears to be steering consumers towards 2 year leases of ... Read More
You're very welcome, njwlog. I don't think that Land Rover's 30 month lease program on this truck is anything special right now. If you really want to lease one, you would probably be better off going with a 36 month lease. Your monthly payment will be lower. Its not a Toyota, Honda, Nissan so no you won't buy one for a few hundred over invoice. Are you serious? The Range Rover Sport is Land Rover's best selling model in the US and one of the hottest SUVs on the market even two and a half years after it came out. Only about 3,000 Supercharged Sports are brought into the US a year and there are no incentives on ... Read More

Hello bigbearrrs. According to the information that I have been able to find, the 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport has a towing capacity of 7,716 pounds. I do not have any real world experience towing things with one though. You might be able to find a community member or two who does by visiting the "Land Rover Range Rover Sport" discussion. As far as the lease that you mentioned goes, ... Read More

Welcome shamsiddin. What you heard is correct. I don't believe that there are many 2007 Range Rovers left out there at this point. If you want to lease this truck, you are probably going to have to go with a 2008 model. Through January 7th, Land Rover Capital's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 Range Rover HSE with 15,000 miles per ... Read More

They redesigned the dealer installed KIT wood fascia in late 2006 so it is better then the old version. The factory wood available on 2008 LR3 HSE does look much better as it is similar to the wood in the 2008 Full size Range Rovers. Land Rovers have never been much for highly polished wood though so it most of the wood interior in Land Rovers have a matte finish.
I'd be happy to help you out, kerb. According to the latest information that I have seen, Land Rover Capital Group's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE with 15,000 miles per year are .00247 and 67%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 30 month lease are .00261 and 63%. The numbers for an ... Read More
Carman, would be so kind as to provide me with the residual and MF on the above referenced vehicle for 24, 30 and 36 months. Additionally, are you able to confirm that the acquisition fee is $595 and if there is an additional $700 in advertising fees, etc. on each vehicle. Furthermore, are there any incentives in terms of certificates from Land Rover (similar to the $1500 certificates for the '07) ... Read More
Allright, well I've seen some good posts here. I think folks are finally starting to wake up. One post read that on a recent trip to Europe he was supprised to find that Defender was still produced!! I predict that the high dollar world of the U.S. Defender is about to come crashing down. There is nothing I hate more than a purely utilitarian automobile that catches on as a fad. ... Read More
Well, I got the truck fixed for about $3700. Rebuilt land Rover Trans with one year warranty. They drove over to the Acura dealer and traded it in. Land Rover would not assist after being out of warranty 2 months and certified used by Land Rover about 10K miles ago. While Land Rover did not have to do anything, I thought they would since I had a 2008 Sport Supercharge on ... Read More
I couldn't read all of that since it was mostly a couple of run on sentences but I will point out the false parts of what I did read. RRS have not been delayed. Land Rover told us this past winter that 2008s would arrive in July. My drop dates for 2008 Sports and LR3s have been the last week in June or the first week in July since January. There ... Folks the demand on the RRS is slowing a bit and worse for Land Rover, sales on the LR3 has come to a screeching halt! There are tons of LR dealers in the southwest (i'm in texas but my buddies in AZ and OK are saying the same thing) and they've had to twice delay the arrival of the 2008 RR Sport version cos they can't move the 07 inventory as ... freelander never had low range so what made you think the LR2 would have low range" I admit to not having followed all of Land Rovers' developments and so did not know the freelander was similarly crippled. Even without low range the freelander is an amazing performer off road. You aren't going to do much rock crawling with it but it doesn't have the ground clearance for rock crawling anyway. Its ... Hey Chris, I totally hear you! I had a 1972 Land-Rover short wheel base in college. I continue to drive my 1989 Range Rover Classic. I can't say that the new LR3 or the RR Sport makes me want to get interested in Land Rover's again. I don't have your money, but I defenately would pay a premium for LR, as yo mention, a history and just a good all round ... Read More
