2004 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 4WD 4dr SUV (4.4L 8cyl 5A)
My 2003 Range Rover is a fantastic
improvement over my 1997 HSE 4.6. The
power plant has a excellent power band.
It averages 13 miles per gallon but can
The suspension handles anything from rough
outback to crusing the freeway at 75-85
with the same excellence. The Logic 7
sound system is fantastic. The brakes were
not engineered to my needs so I replaced
it with a Brembo 15" Rotor system and
can handle the Palos Verdes Hills with
authority. The Navagation System is a
bit complicated but it will get you there.
My favorite features are:
1. The transmission manual or automatic
2. Automatic lowering of the suspension
3. The xenon headlamps excellent
illumination. Fog and parking lights
are engineered and user friendly
The factory brakes are substandard.
I purchased a Brembo System for $5200.
Navagation System is hard to program.
Driver Cup Holder had to be replaced at
14000 miles. 20" rims should be standard.
