It is a conversation starter and still turns heads. However, this trucks is not for everyone. It does require a bit more maintenance and is not a vehicle you can skimp on. If you give it the very best, it will give you itís very best. if you want something unique and donít mind the extra maintenance get a rover. It won't disappoint you.
Its built like a tank and gives you the feeling of commanding a mighty ship from very comfy captain's chairs. VERY easy to work on, lots of information available and plenty of parts to maintain it. For the DIY mechanic, itís a wonderful vehicle. That and the view while driving is terrific.
It leaks. It canít be stopped, so get used to it and monitor the fluid levels. They did fix this on the newer ones. Land Rover, never use cylinder sleeves on an engine again! The newer ones have done away with them, just be wary of slipped liners if you plan to purchase.
