2004 Land Rover Freelander SE 4dr AWD SUV (2.5L 6cyl 5A)
The only worry in purchasing this car is
its safety record, which isn't that much
worse than other cars in its class, but
still not as good as a 4dr sedan.
Besides for that, the car works very
well and we have no complaints. It's
good for people who like to ride high
(in a SUV), still like to have a car
that is nimble, yet don't need the cargo
space of a larger SUV. The ride is a
lot more comfortable than the Jeep
Liberty, Rav4, etc.
Electronic up/down for rear window cools
the car in the summer. Sport shifting
is useful for descending hills without
your foot on the brake.
#1 Safety. More horsepower in the
engine. Better fuel economy. Larger
gas tank. Stronger cooling system (works
fine for the northwest, but I wouldn't
take this car to Arizona).
