The truck performs off road as you would expect a Land Rover to do. It went up and over things easily that I had not been able to negotiate without difficulty in other vehicles. It's a lot of fun to drive.
On the other hand, it's been in the shop 22 times for warranty repairs. I got one of the first Discovery II's off of the assembly line which was probably the problem.
Active cornering allows it to really take the turns nicely. Suspension is fantastic on rough terrain.
Tilt or adjustable steering wheel.
Larger gas tank. Roof racks design to hold 4 Jerry cans would be nice.
