  My 2008 Kia Sportage reverse lights wont shut off unless engine is off. Couldnt find anything in KIA forum. Online articles say there is a switch to check. Is this something I can do myself, if so how or do I need to take it to a mechanic. Any help is very welcomed.

  I have the luxury package with headed seats, black leather & so on. The only real problem is I have a noise over audio system that is present when on the road or in parking sturcure.   I have a signal which is coming over speakers when engine is on. It becomes more prononce if I'am in carport or under brigde, but if I turn off engine the signal comes through just fine. The dealer replaced the roof antenna and base, but this did not correct problem. My other vehicles radios work with out any problems in same conditions. ??

  My 2008 Sportage Passenger Airbag light does the same thing. This is a serious safety issue. My daughter and wife each weigh 110 Lbs and the airbag light goes off and on while driving.   Kinda been dealing with the same problem. I took it to the Dealer and they couldnt figure what was wrong with it on the initial Diagnostic which was $89. They wanted to run more test on it for an additional $199. In other words they were taking me to the cleaners. Take it to another shop,, not the dealer!

  I have a 2008 kia sportage check engine light has come on it sputters and takes off very rough before it picks up speed seems as though it is not getting gas have had problems with it twice not wanting to start. will take it to the dealer but want to get a feel on what is going on.
