I currently own a vehicle which CarMax has offered $28000 to purchase it from me. I am planning on purchasing a Kia Sport and took the vehicle for a trade-in appraisal, which turned out to be $27,300. In Ohio, if you trade a car, then the value of the trade is deducted from the amount to which sales tax is applied. In this case, by trading, I would escape around $1850. ... Read More

HELLO RAN I believe this was a RECALL by KIA ..you can check this at www.car.com (think they list that recall there).. 2 connectors go to YOUR COIL PACKS..Kia says C123 and C124 CONNECTORS come loose from engine vibration and make this car stall and run rough..you can wire tie them at both ends..but I taped mine REALLY tight with ELECTRICAL wire so the connectors would NOt come loose again..KIA should ... Leak codes for EVAP system are quite common.....and they come and go for no reason...anyway, check all hoses to the evap can and solenoid valve on right fender and keep fuel fill cap tight.

I don't know what the name of it is, but there's a wire in the back of the engine, a little left of the center, that when moved simulated the shaking and stalling I was going through. When we ... The RPM's also drop in an instant and the car feels like it's pulling back/de-accelerating. Have the same problem with the check engine light, but found out that the thermostat housing was the cause. They told me that they had to replace mine because of the sensors were not reading right and it was making the light come on. Seams like if Kia knows this they would put a recall out to fix it. So far no more problems. keep you posted.
