Mine is a 2007 and the paint in the front (entire front) same thing. All these years, 3 dealerships and the same thing, no coverage. The latest excuse I got was they don't honor the paint warranty in New England because there is too much road debris. I guess they shouldn't sell Kia's in New England. Be careful with your in cabin air filter (behind the glove box) that can also ... Read More

The dealership said that is normal, said those are stone, he came with a paper tape to remove more of my car painting, of course he can not remove a car painting with a paper tape, just so irritating. Hi Marley, Thanks for the compliment. Just so you know, the Kia Spectra is identical from 2007 - 2009, virtually the same car with a different model year stamped on it. Now the Forte is replacing the Spectra for 2010 (I WANT A FORTE!). Anyway, I think the brand of tint is SolarGard. I had it done at a local shop for about $150. The tint is 35% on the doors ... Am interested in purchasing a remaindered new 2007 Spectra EX. Although this question is off-topic, it would be refreshing to hear from Spectra owners who have not had defective engines, transmissions and other miscellaneous disabling and unrepairable catastrophes with this model. Given the numbers of this model in service it seems highly unlikely that Kia would jeopardize future sales by continuing to produce vehicles of questionable quality. Perhaps the 2009 redesign ...
