i just leased one and found it seems to wander from one side to other ,constantly having to move steering wheel back and forth (a small amount but after awhile this gets annoying)never had a vehicle do this, it is like being behind a tractor trailer or in high winds even in local traffic if you let go of wheel it goes
slightly right then after correcting it for this it goes to left ,then you correct and then stars all over again, going to take back to dealer only have it for one day. test drive was on back roads not on straight open level roads
My wife said the same thing about mine when I got it.
I told her to stop moving the steering wheel! She was gently moving it back and forth without even realizing it because she is used to driving bigger SUV's that have heavy steering. Once she made a conscious effort to hold still, she found that it tracked nicely, and required very little input. It is a small car, so large vehicles and windy conditions will affect it some, but not nearly as bad as it seems at first. Part of the problem is the electric assist steering. It is very light and almost too easy to move. You have to learn to HOLD STILL....
How can you review a leased car that may have been involved in a previous accident?
go to a dealer and at least test drive a brand new soul before you review it... Unbelievable!!
the like reviewing old underwear
I'm not experiencing tracking problems at all. My Soul drives like a dream. It's about 100% easier to drive than the Jeep Liberty it replaced.
Maybe instead of dissing the vehicle, a return to the dealership for a look-see would have been more beneficial?
