  Thanks for the reply apnep. According to Truecar.com, the dealer cost for this exact year/make/model/options is $32,736. If those numbers are reliable then we're close to dealer cost. I'm guessing 5k miles is worth about $1500 or so, so the price should probably be in the $30-31k range. But *full* price, do you really think I'm that far away from a good price?

  I am happy that some people get good mileage with there SUV's. I have about 3000 miles on mine and am still getting 12-13 mpg. I am giving to 5000 miles and see what happens. If no better, I am going to explore the Honda option and sue, or if nothing else trade it in for something with better mileage.

  my 2011 sorento was made the first week the plant was open. built 10/29/2009. bought 3/8/2010. two plus years and 28k miles it has been perfect. ex v6. highway about 27mpg and averages about 23mpg for our normal driving. in real life v6 gets pretty close to the mileage of the 4cyl and alot more power. bigger engines works easier.

  I have a 2007 Sorento. After 5,000 miles I had the same issue. Even after multiple complaints to the dealer and Kia Corp they would not cover the rotors, which warp after 4,000+ miles. Had them replaced three times in two years. Finally went with non-Kia brand rotors and they have been fine for over a 2 years now.

Mine has about 1,250 miles on it and I get between 22-24 mpg in what I call "mixed" driving, which is about half on the freeway.   Hate to intrude on your euphoria, but in my 2012 SX I get 26-27 highway on long trips. Around town closer to 20 and I do not have a heavy foot. I doubt your 31 is going to last. Have you calculated it yourself?

  I just bought KIA Sorento 2012 a week ago and it has wonderful drive and power and most amazing thing is its millage - which is almost 31 MPG mix withing city and highway ! that sounds perfect with 6 cylinder engine. Am sure I will get better than this after service and couple of thousands.

  Some people get good mileage right from the start but on my last new car, the mileage didn't approach the EPA ratings until 4,000 miles or so, and didn't really settle in until 10,000 miles. I'd give it at least another 4 tanks, and keep a log of fill-ups.

  The money factor and acquisition fee are not negotiable. That's set by Kia Motor Finance when you lease through them. Your only other option would be to lease through a 3rd party and see what their rates and fees are.

  I paid that for my 2011 in June of 2010 and mine has backup camera, heated front seats, white pearl metallic paint, roof rack, fog lamps, mats, cargo tray and cargo net, etc. I love it. 15,000+ miles and no problems. I talked my sister into buying the same one, but hers came w/3rd row seat. She paid more. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

  I think all of the rebates can be combined. I got the $1,000 cash back and $500 competitive bonus. I didn't qualify for the Military Bonus or the New Graduate bonus. There is also a $500 Kia finance bonus, but you cannot combine it with the Special Financing Rates. You either take the cash or get the rate.
