The engine provides reasonable power, but body roll is noticeable. Works very well off-road.
The ride is mostly soft, without too much float, but can be jiggly. The driving position is good, even for taller drivers.
The Sorento is full-featured, with well-placed controls that are easy to understand. Cargo space is generous, but a third-row seat is not available.
The design looks a bit more modern than other SUVs, but not ground-breaking. Build quality is good inside and out, but some of the interior materials, such as the simulated wood, look sub-par.
