    I drained 2 quarts of trany fluid ou and put 2 quarts of Dex-Merc lll in. I found out 4 hours later it should have been kia red 1 fluid. Can I drain fluid 2 quarts and refill with Kia red a couple of times or must I have the trany flushed?

    2006 KIA sorento had no heat - under warranty and the dealership replaced the blend door actuator because of an internal shot. Heat returned. :)

    I could not agree with you more. The Kia mechanics are incompetent and unprofessional. They scratched the hell out of my driver's side door while performing a routine maintenance service and tried to tell me that it was there before I brought the vehicle in. It was good thing I took photos of the entire vehicle (inside and out)that morning knowing their history.

    No change for 2006 model in U.S. I looked at the brochure for 2006 Sorento and one in the dealer's parking lot a month ago. I can only tell the only different is the front and rear Kia emblems. It is not the raised KIA word anymore. I am hoping a redesign Sorento will be out for 2007 model year next year.

    Hi guys, Does anyone know what changes will be on the 2006 Sorento? The only info I can find is that there will be an engine upgrade. Thanks Mark

    iluvmysephina01 - Thanks. I remember I changed the fuel filters (maybe the filter pump too) on my last cars (Accord and Corolla) at around 60K. That seems too soon for Kia. Kia is very busy to bring us more new vehicles like Sorento in 2003, Amanti and Spectra in 2004, Sportage in 2005 and next Sedona in 2006. Any idea where the 280 hp V6 engine came from? By Hyundai?
