My company purchased a 2010 Sedona. When we keep the emergency flashers on for more then 10 minutes without the van running our battery goes dead. I brought it back to the dealer and they found nothing wrong. A battery does not go dead within that short period of time. The KIA company have done nothing to resolve this problem after numerous complaints, I would not recommend any one to purchase a KIA even though it is the sister to the Hyundai family. Can you just imagine being on the side of the highway and your vehicle breaks down, you keep your flashers on and when the tow truck arrives, he has to jump your battery and fix a flat at the same time. Buyer Beware!
Aughh..why do some people believe that anyone wants to hear their long drawn out stories about their peculiar problem with their car and the ensuing drama getting it fixed.
I get it, cars have 1000s of parts doing 1000s of things and not everything goes right 100% of the time.
maybe it would be important to you if it was your wife and kid that were stuck in the middle of nowhere- and could not get the vehicle positioned for a jump because when the Kia's do this- they are impossible for all but an expert to shift into neutral
It is a long term known issue with Kia's across many lines- and the manufacturer and dealer network seem incapable or uncaring in finding/fixing the battery issue.
My 2009 Kia sedona has died without any known reason 4 separate times- but battery at dealership always tests as good as well as alternator.
My sister has replaced her battery on same vehicle 3 times- yet it still happens
Google battery problems in Kia's and you will see that this is not just 2 of us having a problem
